March 20: Meet Janet's group in SAP airport on CM flight from Roatan and immediate transfer to Copan, We will do a short

visit to the Guamilito market so you can experience a local market full of nice suprises, among them women making 

tortillas on the grill, you can sit an watch the entire process . After this visit we continue our trip, our driver, will take us

on a paved highway through Western Honduras, following the Chamelecon River Valley. Throughout the trip you will

see enchanting rural scenes, forested mountains, livestock farms, tobacco plantations and in higher elevations, coffe

"fincas" The trip to Copan will take under 3 hours. Upon arrival to the Ruins, we check at the hotel Marina. If time allows we

will visit small museum in town, a perfect introduction to our Tour March 21 Remainder night at leisure, remember you

spend the night in one of the most charming towns in Honduras, where you will be able to stroll the cobblestone streets, explore many

restaurants and cafes, hunt for souvenir bargains and mingle the friendly people of the town.

March 21: Early breakfast at hotel, then we head directly to Copan archeological park, our guide will give you a walking tour of the main

archaeological site, including the acropolis, the ball court, the hieroglyphic stairway and the great  plaza of the stelas; as well as of the 

majestic Museum of Mayan Sculpture, acclaimed by experts as unique in the Mayan World.  Evening visit to the Macaw Mountain Bird Park

this is a bird rescue, rehabilitation & release center, its located on 10 acres of forested terrain in a strem-fed valley, this eco-tourism project is only 10 minutes away by vehicle from the central square of Copan Ruinas, in this visit you will get a tru immersion into the richness of Honduras bird diversity while wandering in our wonderful botanical gardens.

March 22:  Breakfast, check-out and morning transfer to San Pedro Airport for return Home
