Walter Justis Memorial Scuba Camp

Jacques Cousteau once said; “Since birth man carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders.  He is bolted to the earth.  But man has only to sink beneath the surface and he is free.”

So many people are taken from this world way too soon.  Stress, anxiety and depression have plagued generations. This camp is designed for high school aged individuals who do not have the funds to scuba dive but want to learn and use it as an escape from the pressures of this world.  

This camp is FREE.  Four scholarships will be awarded each year.

In the body of the e-mail please tell us why you want to learn to scuba dive and why you are deserving of the scholarship.  The deadline for the email will be June 1st, 2024.

The camp includes:
All training materials, rental gear, certification for either Open Water or Jr. Open Water, and lunch each day

  Location - Camp will be held at Blue Stone Dive Resort
Dates & Time - July 8th-11th, 2024.

Time 9:00AM -3:00PM each day
